Get Involved

Thank you for your interest in Charity for Kids.co.uk we welcome individuals and corporations wishing to support the Charity for Kids mission to help sick/terminally ill children/families by improving their current quality of life.  The objective of our Get Involved tab is to inspire and activate individuals and corporations to initiate their own meaningful public service projects, with the assistance of Charity for Kids.

Charity for Kids Fund needs you!!!

Have you always wanted to do something for someone or a Charity but not really sure where to start???  Why not help Charity for Kids?  You get to see where your funds raised have gone, you get the immense feeling of helping people which is priceless!!

If you would like to help raise funds for this great cause please contact Paul 07827 852120 or Carl 07949 221946 if you do get involved & would like to Swim, Run, Cycle etc we will give you a Lightweight event shirt, along with an event pack.

JULY 2011

15th Paul & Brother Tony took part in the Rye 10k Run – Finished in 48 minuets

AUGUST

Charity for Kids is established!

SEPTEMBER

3rd Carl organised a Sponsored Sparring at Hastings Kickboxing Academy (www.hastings-kickboxing.co.uk) Raised £800.00

4th Paul & Brother Tony took part in the Battle 10K Run – Finished in 50 minutes

10th Paul takes part in the Great Forrets Run in Bedgebury – Finished in 51 minutes

25th Paul takes part in the Tonbridge Half Marathon (This is Paul’s first ever Half Marathon) Finished in 1hr 51 Minutes

OCTOBER

Sunday 9th TKO Battle of Kent.  TKO/Colin Payne Donates £120.00 from the Kickboxing event which took place ay Lords Wood Leisure Centre.

22nd Tiny 1′s Day Care arrange a Charity Car Wash which raises £220.00 

22nd Tracy Blake takes part in the Beachy Head Marathon raisng funds on behalf of Charity for Kids, Thank you Tracy & Good Luck!! – Tracy Raised £100.00

30th Sponsored 6 A-Side Football Tournament involving 16 teams of all abilities.  Raised £600.00

NOVEMBER

Thursday 3rd Hastings & Battle Fire Service come forward & want to help Charity for Kids hit the £5,000.00 mark.

Friday 4th Race Night at the Kings Head Pub, 61 Rye Road, Ore, Hastings.  Raised £600.50

Sunday 6th Paul took part in the Beckley 10K Run – Finished in 52 Minutes.

Sunday 6th Charity for Kids currently stand at £2,500.00 in monies raised so far, half way to the magic £5K.

Sunday 13th Paul will take part in the Poppy (Bexhill) Half Marathon – Finished 1Hr 49 Mins

DECEMBER

Saturday 3rd The Hastings & Battle Fire service hold open day at the Bohemia Road Station to raise funds for Charity for Kids – Raises £500.00. 

Monday 12th Will find out if we have been granted planning permission to erect a decking area at the Family home of Amber-Rose Sims – Permission Granted, work started on the 14th.

Friday 16th Charity for Kids Auction Night – We would love to hear from you if you have any items which can be auctioned off for this great cause – Raised £1,500.00 – Also saw Charity for Kids hit the Target of £5,000.00 – The Charity will register with the Charity Commission the 2nd week in January 2012.

Wednesday 21st saw Charity for Kids treat 18 Children & 4 Careers from the Conquest Hospital to watch the Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs.

Wednesday 28th Hastings Kickboxing Academy have there Christmas Party, with ticket sales going to Charity for kids
